Basement circuits added by homeowners for freezers, sump pumps and workshops are often undersized or unprotected.
Each of these has a correct fix under the 2023 National Electrical Code, which New York State's Uniform Code adopted effective December 31, 2025. We do the correct fix, not the one that makes the symptom go away for a season.
